Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Manoj Jalamchand Oswal Vs. SON Ankur Exports Pvt. Ltd. & Ors. dated 02/12/2015 regarding the flow of contaminated water from the industrial unit of SON Ankur Exports Pvt. Ltd as a result of which the water of bore-well of the Applicant as well as bore-wells of the members residing in nearby vicinity are contaminated.

 MPCB duly got analyzed the samples collected from the industrial unit separately and bore-well and thereafter, by communication dated November 9th, 2015 informed the Deputy Collector, Solapur that the standard of the water found in the outlet of the ETP of the industrial unit was within the index of the concentration, though the water of the bore-well was found exceeding limit of sulphate, Ca hardness, total hardness, which is beyond the permissible limit.

The Applicant has failed to produce on record material/documents raising to support his case nor to bring on surface of the record any material substantial environmental issue which comes within the ambit of Section 14(1) and 15 read with Section 18(1) of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010. Under the above circumstances, the application is dismissed.
